You are just a murder who kills for fun.A bandit steals stuff, and only kills when needed. If you have never held someone up at gun point and actually talked to them just so you can steal their pants and shoes, you are not a bandit. Please stop using this moniker. herrjon 478 Posted February 18, 2014 I've been doing some experiments on populated servers to see what "bandits" really do to a fresh spawn. So far I had one guy chase after me with a pipe wrench all across Berezino and even jumped off the pier after me, only to angrily log out when he realized he couldn't kill me. Next There was a guy waiting in a building, gun pointed at me and told me to stop. He didn't shoot on sight so I stopped, raised my hands (f2) and told him I won't try anything. He shot and killed me anyways and then said "sorry man". Is it sad I just want to get handcuffed and robbed? Some of the more intense experiences I had in the mod were the actual bandits didn't just shoot on sight but actually attempted to interact with me. Yeah you can't always do it, and yeah it's safer to just shoot, but is someone running around with no shirt, a fire extinguisher and pink baseball cap really that threatening 25 meters away? Maybe because 90% of the people got this "#YOLO" thing going...or this "Die before surrender" stupidtiy, so as soon as they see you they start swinging their wrench, fists or whatever they have or shoot...Not that I'm a Bandit myself, but I could think that this kind of behaviour could lead to "Bandits becoming KoS"... Facetentacles 92 Posted February 18, 2014 I got killed on Hardcore last night because I was searching for some guy in a school that killed my friend. Heard footsteps suddenly and there was a guy with an axe running up behind me and two more behind him. They didn't say a word, so I ran a few feet, turned, fired, missed. Man that mosin sucks at close range :)I don't care that much about gear. If they would have told me not to move I probably would've done it. Enjoy your new ruined gear!
