The problem with the 64 man servers is the server lag is terrible, he FPS is fine but the server has a damm hard time keeping up with it.

Hi.

 

DayZ servers aren't exactly cheap, I can't help but wonder how much of an impact increasing from 40 to 64 will have on pricing.

 

I'd much prefer to see the devs using the new optimizations to increase the number of zeds and get the loot&zed respawning in-game first. But that's just me.

30+ players in electro was a complete lag fest

Pointless post is pointless.

 

The problem with the 64 man servers is the server lag is terrible, he FPS is fine but the server has a damm hard time keeping up with it.

 

I'm having no issue with them so far and I've logged quite a few hours on experimental now. I welcome more players!

Bandwidth.  Players were warping all over the place.  Understandably it's rare that 30 players even come together at all but it seems like that's all people want to do on the experimental.  Plus there was a sacrifice going on in the church.  It was a strange day in Electro, that's for sure.

I've had good experience on the 64 player experimental servers. Same (if not better) FPS and super responsive in terms of pulling out weapons and dropping items and such. Didn't see any warping around either, though I wasn't in heavily populated areas. Overall better than the stable 40 player servers in my experience.

And I don't see how people get lag on the 64 player servers. I don't lag any more than I do on a full 40. In fact, my latency was quite a bit better it seemed to me on the high pop experimentals
