If we look deeper through the writing we can actually see the OP keeps getting killed and is failing to stay alive, he is then taking out his frustration (which is caused by how bad HE is at the game) on a certain group of people whom he knows are not well liked in the hopes he can get some sympathy and agreement with his invalid point on the official forum.

Yes, im aware of that. Thing is - you still can´t identify a singe player by his name - which is good imo.

So in the case of our sensitive listeners in this thread you would have to mute all players ingame which can take a while on a 40/40 server..

It's the old hipster argument. When something is niche the small crowd involved tend to have an emotional investment in it. When it goes mainstream you will gain a larger audience which will not have this emotional investment and so won't give a shit.

Sadly the CoD kiddies are now part of our world, c'et la vie, and ultimately they have paid their money and have just as much right to play the game as anyone else. There is no point in getting all snobbish about it, or their game style.

 

What we need to remember is that those who have spent time learning and loving DayZ have a far greater advantage over those who play casually just for the KoS lulz.  We know the best angles to attack from, we know the map, we know the terrain, we know the way the weapons react, all these things have taken time to learn so we should use them.

I have no worrys about this. Iv only encountered 1 squeaky little kid so far. But the gameas it is now caters to players of casual shooters. Theres guns everywhere, zeds aren't up to scratch yet, and im sure the hydration and hunger values are a work in progress. When its damn hard to even get close to a weapon because the spawn crawls with zombies that can hit hard, and are hard to drop, I bet a lot will leave the game. specially if an M4 is something you would be lucky to see one of in a entire nights play....and if you found 20 rounds to go with it....you'd feel like you won the lottery :)

9/10 being in the military makes you act like a cunt, it's a profession that attracts the dregs of society and a lot of these people are brainless morons who follow orders like good little plebs.

 

That being said though, there are good blokes here and there that know the score, people you can trust for life. A lot however are dangerous in their pack mentality and lack of common sense.

I actually like that their are these young kids in the game as well as the older population. It makes me feel that there is actually some diversity in the game and honestly since it is a humanity simulator they act exactly how I picture they would act in a real disaster scenario where they couldn't take out their phones and play angry birds or candy crush all day. With that in mind I have no complaints, I don't let the kiddies bother me. People and their characters are a reflection of each other and as such generally behave the same way in and out of game.

That's perfectly ok to take a break and wait for more stuff to be added.....cars, maybe some base building, crazy diseases, generaly more stuff like clothing and weapons, crafting....gonna be good times!
