Man, you guys are just instantly stereotyping anyone who isn't a super hardcore player..

 

yeah but they'll get bored and leave hopefully without any reason to stay and play the game.

 

 

I'm pretty sure these are the type of people that end up hacking in this game, however.

No, they are the ones that will try and turn this into a cheap mmorpg with the wanting of stats, chat window, trade system, LFG system, pretty soon asking for pve raid content and purple epicz

And you're saying that because somebody like achievements that they all the sudden want to change a game they play to have a bunch of Wow features? Do you think the devs would even take a second (or first for that matter) look at those ideas?

 

Yall need to chill the fuck out and just relax. Nobody is going to play a game forever just because there are achievements. IF they play it for those reasons only (which who pays $30 bux to do that) then they'll get their achieves and leave, problem solved.

It'd be cool to have some achievements I think. Being a former Xbox gamer, achievements play a big role for me.

 

I don't want to offend you, but this highlights exactly what is wrong with console gaming.

 

I'm all for statistics; distance travelled, zombies killed, longest character survival but to work in achievements is devaluing the game itself.
