Problem with gun noises? Can anyone help me?

I can't hear gunshots at distances, let's say my friends next to me. He shoots I hear it, but when we're on the out skirts of electro and someone shoots in town, it's rare that I can hear it. But all my other friends can hear it, it's just me. I tried reinstalling etc. Doesn't fix it. I play  the game on very low but I should be able to here the gunshots right..?

It's a sound bug. Reinstalling won't do anything because it has to do with the game itself, only devs can fix it.

naa, its a problem with your headset or soundsystem. Test it with your friends, if you look at them while they shoot, you will here the sound.

Look in your options how much sound is played, put it on 128 and you should here the sounds...when not, install newest sounddriver

So some people will be able to hear every single gunshot, while I won't be able to hear any? As in ones a little bit further? My buddies seriously hear everything while I hear nothing and it's getting annoying.. There's no fix on this? I mean I used to hear all the gunshots now I only hear ones closer. I'm pretty sure it's not my headset.

Its a known problem with sound in the game right now.

Oh, okay. I just thought it was weird my friends can hear 360 while I can't hear a single shot that's a couple meters away. I'll be able to hear yenno atleast 50M. But once it's on electro hill / 150 - 200M I won't hear a single shot.

When was the last time you updated your audio drivers??

 

Could be an issue linked to that.
