Girl 'abuse' in this game

so I watched this video where a girl was playing DayZ, and a group of geared guys came up to her and started acting "strange" (probably because she was a girl) going 'ooh' and 'yaa'. now in this destroyed world, where there is no law or police, or government, or way of punishing bad deeds the way we used to, women would get it tough in the apocalypse, no kidding around here, is it right for people to do this to add "realism" when they see a girl and act all weird , possibly intimidating her or acting in some sort of sexual way.

 

I don't know.

 

What do you guys thing about this?

Just because someone is a female, doesn't mean you have to be friendly.  Some of the worst things I have ever seen in this game have be done by females taking advantage of males being friendly to them.

If that sort of behavior didn't typically stem from those people being genuine dickheads then yeah, I'd say it makes sense.

Makes just as much sense for the lady in question to then turn around and shoot them in the back of the face, though. All's fair game.

I think that with a game like this it is going to happen.

 

We have the complete freedom to do and act however we choose, which is why people kill on sight or trick and betray others. If I were a girl and a group of geared dudes came up to me I would totally take advantage of their stupidity.

 

I don't condone harassment of any kind, but with the amount of freedom we have...it seems we have to take the bad with the good. Which can be unfortunate at times.

 

Then again, the girls are smart and they know how to take care of business.

If ppl roleplay 100%, preferably on a RP server I would say its okey....otherwise its not okey to sexually harass ppl ingame.

 

I would never do such a thing because I dont know what kind of person im talking to...might aswel be a 12 yerar old girl for that matter.

 

 

And sexual harssment on the internet is illegal too. Ppl have been legally prosecuted for it before.

Geared guys, payday masks, running the coast, punching a new spawn. Douches. So many of these twats run around on low health because they don't eat and drink, and that's one reason they get knocked out so easily. Idiots. And the one guy had a metric fuckton of rice.

FWIW: I don't think her gender, in game or out, had anything to do with that interaction. Just a couple of idiotic would-be spawn killers getting wasted in the best way possible. I don't think that could have had a better ending. Perfect.

My single mother got me into gaming when dragon warrior came out on the nes. Raised three boys by herself, her only relaxation time was us watching her play final fantasy 1, trying to survive the ogre room.

One member of my group is a girl, I gave her a LRS for her mosin just so she doesnt have to be on the front lines.. anyone younger then 18 seems to get a boner when a chick talks. I think its because they probably have too much In game time and not enough "real" world time.. they simply need to get laid.

I personally want to shoot every girl I see because they always tend to have a friend coming to group up and/or they are trying to work an angle. I play friendly but I have watched 4 girls all backstab random people I don't know. Whether it was just distacting them long enough for their friends to come or to make them believe they are friendly to only shoot them 5 seconds later. Girls actually have it easy where you might have to deal with some sexist crap like that but later the sexist crap is an advantage. So really it is how you look at it. Only reason I don't KoS girls is because I'm friendly first no matter what.

It'll continue to happen in game, out of game, etc. Because of sex. Either someone's sex starved, never had it, can't get enough of it, isn't satisfied by the sex he's having, whatever.

The thing your average neck beard, mouth breathing sexist seems to not understand, is how overrated sex actually is. Hell, ask my other half, the older I get, the closer to Al Bundy I become.
