Temporary fix to Battleeye stuttering

Recommended Posts

I fixed it by setting my DayZ to experimental, loading up, and connecting to a server. Then, I exited, set my DayZ back to the regular settings, and connected to a server. Voila, it worked without the annoying stuttering that everyone is getting on BE servers. Only problem is, after a few minutes, the BattleEye thing initialized or whatever (saw the message on the bottom left corner) and the stutter was back.

So, try what I did and see if it helps. Maybe you'll have better luck. On that note, though, is there any way to make it so the BE client doesn't load/configure or whatever after a few mins?

There is no way to stop BE from initalizing unless you want to kiddies with cheap hacks to play on the servers. That's the disadvantage of that system, you turn it off and even clients with less powerful rigs get good fps, turn it on BAM! but it's also a good way to make people not use an office PC/laptop for gaming.

Yeah, that's a shame. This problem is so prevalent though, do you think it will be patched in the near future? From searching forum posts it seems that BE hardly takes responsibility when it's very clearly a problem with their software.

You are misinformed and make unfounded assumptions which your so called fix has failed to prove.

Topic is without worth.
