Static noise when logging in?

I logged into a Normal server and I heard some static noise.

Like this:

Log in. Weapons reloading. *KZZZ* *KZZ KZZ*.

What causes this and how can I fix this?

I don't know, but it happens to me too. Scares the shit out of me, I expect it to be my walkie-talkie.

It's the magnum reloading...you can wait until they fix it.

That noise is LOUD.

I reported that in the bug tracker. I saw that it happened with either the Mosin or the revolver. I had both and the static not only sounded randomly when I logged in, but also on the main menu when the character chamber's a round. It could be these two new sound assets playing together at the same time may cause the static. This is my theory whoever. It could as well be either the revolver or the Mosin.

It's the magnum reloading...you can wait until they fix it.

My character doesn't have a magnum but i get this noise.  And when i did have a magnum and reloaded it it never made a 'statc' noise.

 

Its is fing loud, I try and remember to remove my headset to stop it, it could damage your ears!

It depends on when did you had it, this problem is quite new, I would say it happens since last friday. My revolver does that each time I reload, and it's pretty ear damaging.

But sometimes (and sometimes not) also the mosin does that, it might be that rifle if you have it on you.

I used to get that when i had a Mosin & a Magnum, and logged in. The reload sound made a buzzing variant.

I would like to register a video for you, but my laptop would lag as hell.

Reproducible 100% times with magnum on stable server, for me. Even using a speedloader.

I repeat, not only on login. Shoot my rounds and reload, that happens every damn time. Same for my brother, we play together sometimes and he also experiences that.

Yeah I'm getting it quite a bit. I carry a mosin always, and get it about 1 out of 5 logins on regular servers.

 

On Hardcore i carry both a mosin and a magnum and have had it about 10 out of 15 logins.

 

I hope they are aware of it, it scares the shit out of me when i forget to put my headphone down to almost mute.

 

Is it a sound that everyone can hear or just you?

I had that static noise when I had a Mosin & Magnum. Now I have an SKS and Magnum and its gone.
