Hardcore and Normal?

What's the difference + Will my normal char be there if i go for hardcore? :D

For now difference is that in HC you or anyone else can't use 3rd person view (which is much better imho).

I started with regular, but in the meantime I like hardcore more. It's more immersive and other players seem to be more friendly on hardcore.

Is that it? Only first person view? what about weather? Funny how the server in my region, only yesterday latest patches I get to feel those heavy rain and lightning.

The name hardcore implies more but at the moment the only difference is that it is locked to first person view.

When I started on a hardcore server after playing on a Regular I had the same character. I didn't start fresh.
