Pilot Helmet....rarest headwear?

Personally I think they look awful. Really...really...awful.

 

Perhaps with the visor down it would look cool, or maybe if it was black.

I found one yesterday, and it made a nice change from my motorbike helmet. I only wear the damn helmet things anyway cos its supposed to help when you take damage from a zed or another player if hes punching you on the head.

 

Is it even true? Cos I hate running around with silly helmets on like I am in a star wars movie. If I could run around with a simple wooly hat and shades on, I would. Proper old skool I am B)

Combined with the gasmask, they look awesome.

 

And they aren't too hard to find.  My buddies and I found three between Green Mountain, Vybor military base, and NWAF.

Looks kinda cool but the white colour stands out way too much. If we could spray-paint it I would consider wearing it.

Honestly, if the helmet is enough to give you away when another option wouldn't, then it seems like it is unlikely to be that big of a deal!

motor bike helm stops the ko punch and helps general melee damage.. Balistic helps protect from a bullet does nothing for punching... Have no idea what if any protection the pilot helmet gives or the hard hat but id say they do something???

 

I tried one on yeah didnt really like it maybe another colour or as people said if visor would go down.. Oh by the way anyone heard anymore on sun glasses working to stop sun glare etc i think that be cool and then even more reason to have visor down on pilot helmet.....
