PLEASE HELP! STUCK IN WATER WITH "YOU ARE DEAD" SCREEN AND NO RESPAWN OPTION

I had a similar issue yesterday, I tried three different servers, all netting me similar issues. Sometimes it would tell me I was dead, sometimes it would give me the respawn timer yet do nothing when it reached zero. Then, on my fourth server, I just respawned like nothing was ever wrong.

No help unfortunately, but I'm having the same issue.

YOU ARE DEAD FIX:

 

1) Exit game.

2) Launch game.

3) Make a new character (seems to have to be a different model than your current character).

4) Change in-game name to something different (bottom-right corner of the main screen).

5) Open server list. Choose a different server than the one you died on.

6) Cross fingers.

7) If it didn't work, try it again. I've had to do it more than once a couple of times.

The weird thing is, when I spawn back into the world I am alive at the same spot I "died" at. The above^^ hasnt seemed to have worked yet.

I had the same thing happen this is what i did "set your max ping in the search options to 99999 etc and search for "delete" you will get like 3 servers that say character del etc log into one and after "you have died" message log out, now if your playing on Regular log into a hardcore server and start a new character run a little ways and then log off as normal after that log into the regular servers. Do the opposite if you normally play on hardcore "ie" log into a regular then exit as normal and log into your hardcore server... works for me every time.

Having the same issue and tried every 'solution' on this forum. Still, everytime I join a server, I get the message: please wait, your are unconsciousness or you are dead: = no respawn and black screen. Nothing works and yet not a simple solution. Bought the game today and I can't play it, really frustrating!!!!!!!

Same thing happening to me since I died last night. Understand the game is in alpha, its just annoying seeing other people able to play, but I'm not able. Especially on the weekend!! Obviously that hotfix yesterday didn't fix it.

I know that this is an Alpha version, but not being able to play at all is not what i have paid for.

 

what about that 100% delete char servers? I did join the servers but it was the same as the rest.

Having the exact same issue, I hate it that everyone seems to enjoy the game except for us :(
