Feel for you man but the staff at BI who do cows and tents aren't the same ones who do engine/player movement type stuff. Been said by the developers many times. You should have waited to get the game later if bugs like this really get to you.

I like PVP in DayZ because its fun. Unless I'm in a firefight, I find the game boring and unchallenging. Basically, the same reason as another game I play with PVP elements. DayZ is special though because of how much that can be lost if you die. High stakes PVP if you will. When the survival mechanics are beefed up and the zombies/environment become a challenge then it will be even better.

People who are upset about lack of progress/bugs at this stage just shouldn't have bought into the game at this stage. Everyone was actively discouraged from buying the game by the developers and no one can blame anyone but themselves if they are upset with the direction and overall pace of development. Bugs/issues shouldn't be ignored, however. But the correct (only) place to properly report these issues is the feedback tracker. The daily rants on this forum and others are just futile - albeit entertaining.

I never have any problem finding full hardcore servers.

I'll lose faith if it releases as a full release and it's still really buggy and short on features. I honestly feel a lot of people who are upset with the game at this stage should've learnt to read: "If you are not excited to play this game in its current state, then you may want to wait until the game progresses further in development." "It is a work in progress and therefore contains a variety of bugs. We strongly advise you not to buy and play the game at this stage unless you clearly understand what Early Access means and are interested in participating in the ongoing development cycle." Caveat emptor. Vote with your wallets next time ye dumb sheep.

Some real life islands of similar size I would like to see are Guam, Isle of Wight and Malta. Three quite different terrains and climates.

Can't wait for private, white-listed servers - then those of us who want to play decent DayZ can escape this kind of BS.
