The lack of food

Hey.

 

I have had some issues since a few patches ago, that there is little to no food to be found within large areas.

 

Today for example, i logged in to a server and few seconds later it restarts, so a fresh server for me, yay :) But after looting for about an hour, covering two mid sized cities, i found 1 bag of rice..

 

I also found two k95 rifles (i think it is called) 4 snap loaders.

1 mosin. two muzzle compensators.

2 shotsguns.

3 20 shot boxes, 2 of them for the rifles 1 45 ACP.

5! machetes, two fire axes.

7 kids backpacks, 1 normal.

5 sodas 

1 cantine.

3 sewing kits

2 weapons cleaning kit

 

all that, and one bag of rice... 

 

I think the problem is, that currently with the limited loot spawns, and the increasingly flooding loot table, that food sometimes don't spawn at all.

mhhhh. I allways find enough food. People are horrible at looting at times. Found fresh Veggies, tuna, something that looked like a looted berezino.

 

I whouldent general say food is scarce. What towns you have been to ?

I often have to travel through up to 5 towns to get all the food I need. After every time I die and respawn that's the most stressful part - and full of risk. I usually get blown away by someone while in a town hitting up a hospital or something looking for food.

Theres plenty mate, i'm leaving food and drink behind cos i cant consume it quick enough.  ;)

I find enough food that generally i'm picky with what I take. Normally I only take baked beans as they give you the most nutrition out of all the food. Not sure if you know where to look. You need to check everywhere in a house and even double check houses with the doors open. (With a gun in hand of course) Think like a racoon  :beans:  :beans:  :thumbsup:

i had 4 cans of tuna, 2 bags of rice, 2 sprites, and 5 other soft drinks within 20 minutes of gameplay. Maybe the grocery gods have my back, but I think there is too much food.

I do admit it's tough to find food near the spawns, but when you survive long enough to visit the inlands...no problem with food. I do admit that people suck at looting. Perhaps they just don't do it because you can't shoot food. Also they seem to sprint EVERYWHERE and thus loose more calories. Jog.

Unless something has changed, there was no difference between sprint, jog, or walk with regard to calories burned.
