Woodland Creature 9 Posted February 8, 2014 It was my understanding that there were two hives with separate characters for Regular mode and Hardcore mode but I've just tried a couple of hardcore servers and they all seem to be loading in the character from the regular hive. I was hoping to have a regular character test stuff out and get myself killed during the process, and a hardcore character for serious play. Is this not possible anymore? Was it ever possible or am I just missing something obvious? When a Regular server has 3PP disabled, it shows up on the server list as Hardcore, even though it's not. It's pretty frustrating at times, especially now with the new server-hopping penalties. Oh well. Hopefully it gets addressed. Share this post Link to post Share on other sites

Can I play hardcore with one character and still retain my other character on a Regular server without fear of either one or the other being deleted?My regular game character is fully kitted out and I am quite careful with it. I almost peed my pants when i logged onto a hardcore server and found myself back on the coast. I was much relieved when I logged back onto a regular server and still had all my stuff. At the moment I am experiancing major FPS issues with the regular servers and will not be playing on them until this is fixed. I was lead to believe the problem lies in some of the pre patch gear somehow slowing the FPS to almost 0 in my case. If I could start a new (read separate) character on a hardcore server This would give me an oppertunity to play while i wait for a fix. Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
