General "DayZ freezes after new Patch (0.34)" and "FPS drop" discussion

Hi everbody!

 

Just wanted to start a new topic and let you know that the issue with the freezes is already reported as a ticket (or more tickets :)):

It seems that this problem occures if you play with friends.

Seems to work for some people if they play alone but i didnt test that one out yet.

 

Would be nice if some administrator or developer can let us know if we can count with a solution the next days or not?!

Yea i know its a alpha and i am not angry but i just wanna stay informed ;)

 

Here my system specs if that helps:

Windows 7 Ultimate 64bit

8 GB RAM

Zotac GTX 680 2 GB VRAM - stock clock

Core i7 2600K - stock clock

MSI Z77 Gaming Motherboard

He's asking people what nvidia drivers they have. Seems like a gpu issue. 

 

He also mentions a fix monday morning but it seems like he's trying to get to the bottom of it.

I am using the same drivers I was yesterday when my FPS were fantastic with everything Very High. It isn't a gpu/driver issue seeing as it only happened since todays patch. It seems like a memory leak. I am glad they are looking into it though.

 

Another point regarding playing with friends.... I am currently solo

 

I have just tried playing again and I am currently running accross a hill in trees between Elektro and Cherno (or at least trying!) and the FPS just keeps dropping to the point the game freezes and even though my pc works my mouse doesn't show for me to end the DayZ process in Task Manager. Until I restart my pc the memory usage for DayZ just keeps going up and up...

try to drop ur and ur friends first aid kits and m4 magpul buttstock and change server after, its helps us today. it may be another items in your friends inventory, just run from eachother to range when fps come back to normal (about 1000m) and test all items to find which of them is corrupted. sorry for my english

It really bugs me to hell that the devs are troubleshooting through reddit, rather than the official forums.

Is there anyone besides me who finds it strange that the devs seem to be more active on reddit than on their own forum?

I spawned in hardcore as a bambi and no trouble. playing alone on en empty server still gives me problems in regular mode.
