Why are Australian Hardcore servers so empty :(

There are maybe 2 servers that fill up at peak time but they are mostly dead. Do us aussies prefer regular?

I think the Aussie's that would be into "Hardcore" DayZ are probably in the Outback killing each other with shovels for cans of beans, not on their computers.

Actually, now that I'm about to logon I realise that I'm off in the Experimental branch so am playing on the US Experimental servers. Which brings up my next point: Why does Dean not love us Kiwis and Aussies? Why can't we have at least one or two Experimental servers? Where is his national pride?

We'll see about that. TBH I think all the hardcore players are off on the Experimental servers. Nothing like Hardcore AND new toys to play with!

Hardcore is far less popular than regular ( guess not enough people are hardcore enough aye) add then the population of Australia and NZ combined is well pretty low... I hate to say it there are to many hardcore servers for the pop who play hardcore ( seeing there is only like 6 or 7 i get a decent ping with sounds silly but thats how it goes.

 

I play hell in  hand basket server ( i much prefer hardcore to regular cant stand looking over around things i shouldnt be able to lol ) i just logged out actually there were like 8 of us but then its only lunch time in wa so what 3 in the eastern states in a few more hours that server will fill up..

Im always playing on the Hardcore servers but its really a matter of timing. During the week the servers are quite (except when the latest experimental patch went stable and then I couldnt get into any of the 5 or servers they were all full o_O - has to jump on a us server)

 

You will most likely find the population numbers higher on the weekend when people can play more and dont have the work / school commitments.
