Clearly a hack of some sort, that was the god awful shotgun sound. Plus the multiple, simultaneous and widespread ground strikes are indicative of buckshot.

Either way, sniping the supermarket and blatant reflexive combat logging; the OP is an idiot.

No reason to think that was a shotgun. It was clearly an automatic of some kind.

As far as what it sounds like, sounds are unreliable in the game at this point, don't trust anything you hear.

Could be he was shooting through the wall, which is not cheating. Bullets go through walls IRL and in game.

Do most people not know that you can legitimately shoot through walls and floors?

You can see him kneeling on the scaffolding if you look closely.

Its hard to tell, but there is a greenish figure of a person knelling if you pause it and replay it in full screen a few times.

As for it being a shotgun....no, it was an M4 and the sound quality has a low end to it that makes it sound different.

Anyways,  my point is.   It's freaking stupid that people are so bent out of shape that people combat log because it 90% actually makes you safer if they leave.

THE WHOLE POINT OF THE GAME IS THAT ITS NOT SAFE. When someone combat logs after taking a potshot at me and missing, or he logs when I try to hold him up, or just approach him with nothing but friendly intentions it ruins the fun for me and for every other honest Dayz player. And OH FUCKING WOW theres a BUG after a patch in an alpha?!!?!? What do we do now?! The game is ruined, unsubscribe....
