2 strange things since patch today.

I already submitted one as a bug issue # 0008098
 

I cannot go prone or squat down if my fists are raised. Simple as that. If you are standing and raise your fists, you cannot go prone or squat. Is this happening to you?

 

Second issue i did not submit a bug report for. Because I want to see if it happens anyplace else. (If i can reproduce it).

 

I have a 3PP(Regular) and 1PP(Hardcore) profile.

I played 3PP-Regular for a bit today, then I switched to 1PP-Hardcoe, everything is fine. The 1PP-HC server then goes to rest after about an hour f play. I can no longer locate it i nthe server browser which is fine, I'll just join another 1PP-HC server, no biggy. I join a different 1PP-HC server and I load in with my 3PP-Reg profile. WHAT!?!!??!

 

It's also not a big deal as long as one does not affect/kill the other. I'm waiting to see if the first 1pp-HC server comes back on-line to see if i get my original 1PP-HC profile back.

 

Perhaps this is a server mis-config? Server set for HC but connected to wrong hive?

 

 

Anyone getting this one?

The underlines are unnecessary, I almost didn't read.

 

Not that I can offer you much help, since the update to .32 every time I log into the Regular Hive I virtually guarantee deletion of my hardcore character and vise versa.

 

But from what I understand it depends on what's happened. As I understand it, some Hardcore servers are (for some reason) connected to the Regular Hive. If you didn't actually make any change to your character on the hardcore hive, then it should still be there.

But if you experience any sort of problem like I do here, go ahead and mourn your hardcore character for now lol.

Hardcore servers that load your Regular characters are not really a danger, just a wrong configurated server. Your progress saves like it would've done on a normal Regular server. There are a few servers with those mis-configurations around.

 

As for the not crouching while fists are raised, I have that issue since patch aswell.

While I haven't tried crouching while fists are raised, I remember before the patch, I couldn't raise my fists while crouching. lol, maybe related...

The underlines are unnecessary, I almost didn't read.

 

 

I copied the ID number from my bug report and pasted. The underlines did not appear in my text until i posted it and all my text was red also. I tried to change the color AND remove the underlines. I was only able to change the font color. I can't seem to be able to get rid of the underlines. Yes, i select all the text, and switch the underline near fonts in the editor. Not sure what else i could have done.

Well as far as weird things that happened today, Grimey Rick and I both experienced something we assumed people were just overreacting about.

 

We were both killed by someone who either had A: A REALLY terrible connection of some kind or B: some douchey hack that I don't know about

 

We were passing through the military base south of Zeleno heading south, and came across a dude. So we both decide not to take any chances, and we also don't want him to loot the barracks that we haven't gotten to, so I aim with my SKS, and shoot him in the back as he's running. I was probably, meh, about 20m away so it wasn't a hard shot at all. Then my bullet passes through him, hits the ground and produces a dust cloud, I see him disappear, then reappear somewhat down behind the building and to the right about 60m away, then BAM! Dead. Sounded like the shot was literally pressed to my ear drum.

 

Then Rick decided to go on the defensive and post up in the barracks watching the door. Eventually he came, opened the door, and Rick put a mosin round in him before the door was even fully open. Then another, and another, and the guy just stood there. Then Rick was suddenly dead, no gunshot or nothin. and his internet is light-years better than mine :/

 

Not really complaining too much, as sh*t happens in alpha, but I at least can see where some of these people are coming from. it's quite frustrating as something like this happened yesterday to, and I merely attributed it to some wild bizarre occurrence...but i'm inclined to at least listen a little more closely to these people posting stories like this now

 

TL;DR: Some weird shit is a-foot and I can see how some people are getting really pissed off about it

Another weird thing since patch...i was killed at 12pm east coast time today and i am unable to respawn or play the game....i've tried joining 6 different servers, resetting my character, etc... but everytime i join a game it says, "you are dead"...there's no option of respawning and when i exit that server to go to another or rejoin that one the same "you are dead" message pops up...anyone else getting this? or know a fix?

I think you're just dead for a bit and you have to wait to respawn. Just sit back and don't join any servers for a bit

I've waited 2 and half hours now lol...i think its a glitch/something wrong with patch...i'm reading alot of other people having the same issue

Have you tried deleting and completely re-installing the game. I haven't had this happen but if it does this would be my first step.

The 'Not being able to crouch or go prone while fist are raised' was introduced while the current patch was experimental.. 

 

Not sure if this was intentional.. Not really a big deal, but it would be nice to be able to have your fists raised and still be able to crouch/go prone..  

 

Wouldn't mind seeing the ability to raise your fists while you are crouched/prone too.  :)
