sidwulf 69 Posted June 23, 2012 May i suggest creating a confirmation dialogue box for after you click on "respawn" in the ESC menu. This will prevent mis-clicking and the accidental death of your character. It has happened to me twice so far while i was setting up my controls and also when i was meaning to hit "Abort"Thanks. blackaciddevil 0 Posted June 23, 2012 How about removing the respawn-button?
sidwulf 69 Posted June 23, 2012 How about removing the respawn-button?You mean completely? Well if your character is stuck somewhere and you need to suicide then there should be the option. All it needs is a confirmation box. I am worried that i will do it again in the future at the worst possible time. Belive me, your pride is totally destroyed when you accidentally kill yourself! stryker211 10 Posted June 23, 2012 When you hit esc just pay attention to what you are clicking, don't be in a rush. Don't blow your brains out trying to turn gamma up :P

thebluefish92 0 Posted June 24, 2012 Honestly, I'm through with playing DayZ for now because of this. I haven't really had an issue until I've been forced to use a crappy wireless mouse for the time being, and the thing likes to "jump" sometimes. So today alone, I've managed to collect every tool, NVGs, Ghili, Cayote (those 3 were from someone I sniped :p) M16, etc... and managed to find an ATV, fixed a bus, and had my own little camp going up north all nicely. So I go to log out, only to hit that button for the 3rd accidental time today.

But what can you do?And you just can't be carefull clicking around in the menu, you are bound to do it eventually as "Controls" and "Respawn" are right next to each other. Alexey Zemanov 6 Posted June 26, 2012 +1, happened to a friend. Of course ... a total noob and stuffs ... but it's good practice for a GUI to shield the user form harmful actions.
