hey all just bought the game i need help for grafik settings

i run a intel core i3 and 8 gigs ram and a gtx650 

 

when i run up to towns it gets real bad 

 

can anyone help??

 

i mean i run bf 4 on pretty good settings and yeah its not lagging there at all

bigger cities just run heavy, keep in mind though that this was also the case for the Arma games that this was based on, so it kinda carried over. Best advice? just turn down view distance to minimal levels in the biggest cities, especially cherno, since there are many city areas surrounding it too so your PC is loading more than you might think. This is something that is most likely going to be fixed at a later date however, once servers and the engine are optimized. No guarantees but the possibility iss always there.

If you run the game with shadows and the like turned on though, it would probably help to turn those off in cities too, they tend to tax the system quite a bit as well.

I run those settings in that pic I posted with my system and get little to no lag and great visual quality.


 


My system is as follows.


 


Processor: amd phenom II x6 1075T at 3ghz


Ram: 12 GB of pny optima pc3-10666 ram


HD: 128 Gig samsung ssd 


Graphics: Evga gtx 650 1gb card over clocked with a extra 220 mhz to the gpu and 75 mhz to the mem clock


Motherboard: Crappy Dell 0NWWY0 Motherboard
