I have literally heard many people say "Yea AB+ the universal blood donor"

 

NO

O- is the universal blood donor.

 

O+ can give to any blood type with the + protein.

 

so

 

it can give to O+, B+, A+ and AB+ but cannot give to any of the negatives.

 

Make sense? I sure am glad alot of people aren't doctors out there.
