How to switch to 3rd person

Hey everyone!

 

So I just recently downloaded DayZ and so far its pretty sick!

 

But I have on issue. When I select 3rd person in the menu, nothing changes. 

It still just stays on 1st person.

 

Is there something I am missing?

You also need to be on a 'Regular' server.

 

Hardcore servers are 1PP only.

If you are on a Hardcore-Server, then there is no 3rd-Person-Option.

You can see the the kind of server in the Serverlist, listing mostly "Regular" and some "Hardcore" Servers.

 

If you join a Regular-Server, simply press the "Enter"-Key on the Keypad to switch betweeen 1st- and 3rd-Person-View, as everyone said.
