Portable Gas Lamp not working?

Anyone else have this issue? It worked fine a few days ago but now it just doesnt seem to emit any light. The thing turns on but no light or visibility

Pretty sure that's not even close...And yes there is a gas can in the lamp

I think its a bug because before you could  turn it on just fine in your inventory but now you can only turn it on if its out of your inventory than it goes back to not working once you place with your stuff.

I have it in my hand and the lamp lights up but like I said, no light emits like say a flash light or head tourch

In the new patchnotes, it said they fixed an issue with not having more than four light sources or something, so if 4 other people have torches on maybe it doesn't work?

Yeah, I unfortunately stumbled upon this as well. Given my lamp was badly damaged, but the tank was pristine.

yeah, actually i remember seeing this too .. i wonder if thats what it is :o

They might have meant if you had 4 lamps in your inventory turned on. Were talking about just having one.

this may sound really silly, but could it be you left it on for too long and you´re simply out of gas? I have no idea if the gas cannister works as intended yet, but I do have a gas lamp as well that now simply lights up white, i.e. it´s visible (bright white) in the dark, but does not project light around it anymore. It did at first. Both lamp and cannister are pristine.  :huh:

Also that patch isnt out yet. And again i only have 1 lamp and a flash light. The flashlight works but the lamp does not

I found 2 cannisters and theyre both pristine. It sounds like an error or bug with the lamp =/
