How to find Berries in DayZ Standalone

Whilst meeting up on the coast my Guinea Pig (Jonno) ran into a bush to drink a "pipsi" and accidentally ate the bush..... as such we found how to get berries!

This is experimental, they were supposed to be in stable .32 if I remember correctly.

I did this exact same thing yesterday in this bush and many others figuring it come up as a context option if berries were available, but it didn't work in this bush or any others.

 

Seems like you're actually able to gather (without a context option) in the next build though.

Well now if i am starving rather than run around looking for a lucky apple or can ETC, i can just find one of these bushes, stick my face into it and eat through my gas mask :D

I've seen rabbits in the game, even tried chasing one down and murdering it with a knife, to get some meat to go with my BEANS.
