Damp ? Wut ?

Recommended Posts

It's a raincoat. What'd ya expect. JK.

Your clothes get wet whenever you step into marshes and stuff like that. I'm not sure if it has any sort of effect though on your mobility or health and stuff.

Plausible , i'm on the big ship now , I've passed by some marshes but never into them (*detection issue ?*) . You'd think that your shoes/pants would be damp not the raincoat . I've checked they're not damp

Probably a detection issue from the swamps near the container ship!

I know I've picked up items that were damp already.. and it happened to me....... ON THE BOAT... (I just made the dramatic duh duh duhhhhhh noise)

Alpha's gonna Alpha

but typically I'd agree.. I also only observe my shoes and pants getting wet when I step in low water.. similar to such found on the way into the boat... maybe you were splashing... jk.

I picked up a ballistic helmet in a hangar that was damp. Maybe a bandit came and took a piss on it or something?

After a while it turned moist instead of damp. And after that it was finally fresh. No moist or damp.

As for what affect this will eventually have, my guess would be temperature. Wet clothes will cause you to cool faster, making swimming in cold weather a potential danger, and hopefully will have some positive benefit in hot weather.

On the issue of raincoats, wearing them in hot weather should cause you to overheat and dehydrate faster.
