Thanks a lot. All your crying/bitching/moaning about not being able to get into the daytime servers during the night seems to have paid off for you. Now at 11 PM, I can't seem to find a single local server without daylight :huh:

 

Guess it's my turn to cry, bitch, and moan :(

Why the hell are you calling out North American players? I live in the United States and I've had zero problem finding daytime servers during the day or during the night, and quite frankly I prefer medium-populated nighttime servers to anything else. >.>

In all honesty I'd love to have a 12 hour day cycle on my clan's server... but until Dean and Co get things set up so loot respawns, we will keep our server 24/7 daylight to encourage traffic and ensure that traffic has loot to gather.

Maybe you haven't noticed, but there aren't any more night servers, at least not in the east, during the night.

 

BTW my post was meant to be tongue in cheek but judging by your butthurt response you should send that pic to yourself :P

lol that one made me smile :D . But in all honesty I prefer playing night servers, because it keeps me more on the edge of my seat. Always feel too safe during daytime.

I find the opposite, if you don't use a flashlight at night, then it's hard to detect you or anyone else. Whereas during the day it's easy to spot anyone from a number of distances so you have to stay on the edge of your seat

That being said, I'm in North America and I've played on very few daytime servers after the patch. I'm not really complaining, though

there are less night servers cuz 99% of the player base prefer to actualy see what the fuck is going on..

 

 

nite time gameplay is boring...might aswell leave ur monitor turned off and fumble around just listening to urself bouncing off walls

I find it hilarious that you have no empathy now that you are in the same position as those players you are basically bashing.

 

Why is that, someone is put in a position others have complained about and instead of saying "yeah this really does suck now that I have experienced it first hand, there has to be a better solution"...

Blows my mind and when it comes down too it, this lack of perception is the core reason for bigotry in all its forms and most problems we have these days.

It may be good for people if they're European and you can play on most servers who's timeline should now be daytime because of your schedule. We Americans have a schedule too, but due to our timeline, we mostly get night time servers. And in my experience with the night time servers, it really, really sucks.

 

Now that it's your "time" to bitch and moan, because we finally can play on daytime servers and play normally like we're used to:

After server operators got on it, there are plenty of daytime servers hear on the EST at night.

I tried playing on a night server the other day (I'm on the East Coast and play during the night--around 10:00PM EST when I stream), and though I've avoided night servers like the plague, I have to say that it's a pretty different experience.

 

I like it! But, a headtorch seems like a must. Otherwise, combat against zombies is impossible. 

 

Also, I see plenty of night servers on the East Coast, at least at night. It bugs me when I'm trying to get a daytime server, ESPECIALLY when it says 24/7 day server in the title.

Full Moon night servers are much better... Otherwise the rest do pretty much suck.  Honestly in a real survival situation you would be sleeping/resting at night, since you could seriously harm yourself walking around in the pitch dark even with flash light.    We take for granted a twisted ankle now...

 

Just my opinion but a shorter cycle would probably be a good solution, or an official setting to filter on.
