Haven't read anything about it but I think rather than make many smaller updates it seems they are trying to push less frequent larger updates right now.

Updates in this game... Don't even get me started. They're not frequent enough! I refuse to play such a shitty version of DayZ. After all, they've had so much time to develop etc and we hardly have any content.

Its my opinion, don't hate, just get over it.

Not hating, just read up on what the Alpha stage of a game generally means, it may change your opinion.

I see your point, but they've had a long time to develop DayZ as a game itself. When they said they were releasing DayZ on Alpha obviously we all had a sigh of relief, yet the ingame content just seems to be the absolute minimum compared to what they could of possibly achieved if they filled all the time they had to develop DayZ accordingly.

I do vouch Dean and the other developers for there outstanding work, but I would like to see them push updates more frequently considering they raised a shit ton of money since Alpha release... With that money he could hire a lot more developers etc to actually help and achieve this. Yet I see no improvement in the business itself... Unless someone would like to correct me?

Dean has already stated he has hired more staff for the project. It takes time to train people.

I wish people would relax instead of creating new threads every time the game goes without a patch for *gasp* an entire week. I almost regret Dean's decision for him, for releasing an Alpha to the most impatient community of all: The interwebs.

It's going to be okay, friend. B) Greatness comes in time.

It has been all of two months. Just because you suddenly have money doesn't mean you can instantly hire and make improvements. I wouldn't expect a noticeable change for 4-6 months. It takes time to post jobs, interview, find the right candidate, they're not just going to hire anyone that says "I can codez."

It's ridiculous how many people think because suddenly there's money means instant changes should happen.

Try be a backer for the game called Cube World. The we can talk about time between patches. Seriously, let them take all the time they need to make a good

finished game. No need to rush any updates and make things worse.
