To be honest, he is right, people are loosing interest in standalone whether you like it or not. The fact that you go on about the "Warning label", lets be honest we didn't think it would be this shit did we? I see your point, but they've had a long time to develop DayZ as a game itself. When they said they were releasing DayZ on Alpha obviously we all had a sigh of relief, yet the ingame content just seems to be the absolute minimum compared to what they could of possibly achieved if they filled all the time they had to develop DayZ accordingly. I do vouch Dean and the other developers for there outstanding work, but I would like to see them push updates more frequently considering they raised a shit ton of money since Alpha release... With that money he could hire a lot more developers etc to actually help and achieve this. Yet I see no improvement in the business itself... Unless someone would like to correct me?

Updates in this game... Don't even get me started. They're not frequent enough! I refuse to play such a shitty version of DayZ. After all, they've had so much time to develop etc and we hardly have any content. Its my opinion, don't hate, just get over it.

I'd just like to address something, now that DayZ is out and development has been onging for some time now, I have a strange impression that their is not enough content in the game. I am not digging at the devs or anything, but I honestly think that the first few days updates where coming out left right and centre. They had their Christmas break, granted, but now its the 12th of January theirs only been 1 update this year (2014). I think that to start with, a game with so much development time doesnt have enough content. I know its Alpha, but the updates are coming slow now wouldnt anyone agree? Im sorry for saying for opinion of the ALPHA, but no arse licking replies to this please, unless you actually have a fair point. Thanks.

I'd get a better PSU, preferably 700-800w. But, this is only my opinion.

Back in October 2012, I ran DayZ mod on the following specs: Intel Pentium G620, 2.60GHz x 2. 4GB (2 x 2gb) Corsair Value Select 1033MHz RAM GeForce 9500GT 1024mb 1440x900 I got around 25 FPS on minimum settings... it was unbareable. Now I have the following spec i5-2500k @ 3.8GHz - 4 core MSI Radeon 7870 OC edition 2048mb 8gb (2 x 4gb) G.Skill RAM 1333MHz 1440x900. I get now around 50-60 FPS everywhere on SA. Currently not been back on mod for a few months, so I wouldnt know my FPS on that.

Well, I think that Cherno and Elekro are too small to be classed as a city, I just thought it would be a nice idea to have a bigger city

So today... I was wondering if we could start a project for a new map... It would be a new york style map, Large skyscapers, military bunkers outside the city, the map would be easy 300-400km² All building are accessible. Rare loot in buildings such as the biggest skyscraper, underground bunkers etc. Garages - Cars inside but extremely rare. Sniper found at 1 or 2 skyscrapers Spot lights on a building but must be activated Electricity for a certain block etc Extremely large markets Military bunkers Sewer system which is accessible in 4-6 entrances in the city. Zombies spawn inside dark buildings... (a little like the film I am Legend) Mines Emergency Evac points that where overrun and full of military loot. All I could think of for now, Leave your suggestions below! :)
