OrLoK 16186 Posted January 28, 2014 (edited) Hello there The best thing to do is to advise the new chum to search and if you are feeling lovely link him to the correct page area. Then let us mods know so we can tidy up if need be. If any shouting needs to be done, leave it to us. bualdoot 0 Posted January 28, 2014 Oh for the love of... Do a search before posting. The question is not only answered on the Steam page itself, there's been about a hundred threads with people asking the exact same thing. YES. YOU GET THE FULL GAME.The Steam page for this game DOES NOT specify if you get the full game upon release. So I can see why people are asking. All it says is early access. And, the dayz website does not say if you do either. It just says, make sure you completely understand what early access means before buying, with out actually specifying what early access means any where. Now, if you notice the LINK on the Steam page about early access that says to learn more, and then read almost to the end of that page, before it actually says what it means, you see it says current stage up to, and through "release". So, I would take that as yes, you get the full game. But, still, what is the harm in asking a question, wanting a DIRECT straightforward answer? YES, you get the full game, is the answer I want to see from the developer when it comes to questions like this, and I think they should say that flat out on the early access purchase page. Oh, and here's the link to Steam's early access information page that says what an early access is. Too bad you aren't curtious enough to do that.http://store.steampowered.com/earlyaccessfaq/?snr=1_5_9_

The annoyance is, threads like this one asking a question that's been asked a million times before clog up the forums and cause more important discussions that can actually help the game move forwards to fall off the front page. Whilst I once again apologise for my response, particularly as I usually pride myself on being welcoming to new users, courtesy is a two-way street, and new users should also extend that courtesy to the rest of the forum by at least doing even a cursory search for the information they're looking for before posting. Now let's just let this thread die - by replying to it, we're just bumping it back up the forums again and pushing legitimate discussion back down.
