crazykorv 0 Posted January 28, 2014 Hi everyone. Is it possible to view health levels (thirst, hunger and blood level) or is the only information messages and color brightness. So far i've only joined ragular servers, but i cant seem to get 3rd person view even though i change the setting?
DemonGroover 8836 Posted January 28, 2014 The levels arent able to be shown, only the messages and what you see in the Inventory screen. 3rd person should be available on Regular servers (try enter on your number pad).
Judopunch 523 Posted January 28, 2014 Hello, Currently only having 'health' status means you are doing well in the food and drink department. Color of screen for blood, and im not sure for energy. Hit your enter key to go to third person, in non-hardcore servers.
cheRubyy 10 Posted January 28, 2014 (edited) 1. no thats not possible. you can only get information by the messages in the below left corner and when pressing tab (color yellow, orange, red).more information: AND http://dayz.gamepedia.com/Status_Effects 2. then you are doing sth wrong. check control assignments under "view" the first entry. by default it's set to "enter". joing a regular server and try again. TEST_SUBJECT_83 465 Posted January 28, 2014 (edited) No, the colors and words are all we get, but after awhile you'll be used to it. If your new, I would give hardcore mode a try and see how you like it.Hardcore only means First Person Perspective Only, which means no one can look around walls. So don't be intimated by the word "hardcore".Anyways, Im not telling you how to play or telling you something is better for you than the other.Im just saying before you start relying on 3rd person give 1st a try, IMO it makes DayZ 10 times more immersive and realistic...trust me.
