Most Ive managed is shotgun on my back, M4 in my hands and a pistol on my person.  I'm sure i've seen a sawn off in someone's backpack taking up an entire row, but I only use the burlap pack so only have 4 slots width ways.  Suppose with a holster you could carry a magnum too.  3 'rifles' though I can't see how that's even possible.

i have never shot a gun with a c mag before but I imagine it would be heavy as shit because they have 100 bullets in em.

 

That being said I only have around 20 rounds so I will keep a eye out in and constrution sites and make my way to blota and hope not to get shot.

My friend does this and I have seen it, and tested the mechanics.  In his inventory are the revolver and .45.  He is also able to put the sawed-off in the pack as well, even though it takes up 10 slots I believe.

 

Carries the mosin on his back, and the M4 in his hands, or vice versa.  The game allows for this;  however, to do *anything* else with your hands, you have to put one of the rifles on the ground.

 

EDIT: I tried carrying both Mosin and M4 and was able to, but I decline to play this way.  Mainly because it is too much of a pain in the ass when you need to whip out the axe, eat, use your compass, or anything else that requires your hands.

Its possible. I usually run with two primaries also. Why pick between M4 and Mosin when you can have both. Sawed-off takes bottom two rows, hand guns take up the most of the other two rows (with 2 slots for ammo). I know for a fact you can do it with the mountain pack, not for certain on the hunting pack.

I used to carry a ton of crap on me. I was always healthy, 300 rounds of ammo, 5 canteens, food galore for days.

 

Then I changed how I played. I use a backpack to stock up. Get a weapon, ammo, eat till I'm healthy. Then I ditch the backpack.

 

I only carry ammo on me, food, bandages, shots, and painkillers. No more carrying water. I get water at towns/citys.

 

I always stay on healthy mode. Search for food when I need it.

 

I want to carry the least amount I can to survive because survival rate for me is 1 to 3 days before I get killed. I dont mind dying but nothing is worse knowing that the douche who killed me is rummaging through my stuff when Im dead.

 

Worst case, he can have my weap and ammo. Im barely giving him anything to survive. A couple friends thought I was crazy for playing this way, but now that they die a lot too, they do the same thing. Its pretty easy with pants, jacked, uk vest.

I carry normally at all times an M4, sawed off shotgun, Mosin, FNX, and colt with me at all times. And yes i use them at all times. And yes i am a walking armory.

Killed a guy like this before the latest: he had a Mosin, M4, FNX, and Magnum. I was an M4 guy at the time, so his long-range scope interested me little. Hope to find his spawn again in order to pick-up another one.
