New proposals DAYZ SA !!! Read this around 5000 words...

                                 DAYZ STANDALONE proposals !!! version 0.0.1

 

Hi guys and girls and developers and lil Dean. I Was bought Dayz standalone and this game is very fantastic. I could ignore buggs and some laggs, but i have some good ideas how to make a good game.

 

For example here are my ideas and thinks to game.

 

 

 

1.) Face and visage

 - Balaclava, straw hat, helmet with mesh helmet with the card on the side, funny glasses with nose and mustache and more.

Example : Combinations with balaclava + baret (my favorite) and others can be together linked.

 

 

2.) Modifications and creating new character 

- More hair types, beards types, figure slim, fat or  muscular type. Reedit existing skin. And more possibilities creating character. Be a more unique then other players.

 

 

3.) Clothes + Any items

 - More unique sets like a military, police, maintenance workers, fireman sets like boots, pants, hoodies, caps, helms and jackets and any unique items.

- Military sets - Czech army vz.98 suits

                             - russian army suits

                            - american army suits

- Police sets - Police cap, police baton, police gun and more

- Hunting set - Boots, cap, jacket and more

- Firefight set - Helm, jacket, pants and more

MILITARY Backpack - We probably need more slots in inventory so new backpacks like military backpack with 40-50 slots sounds good.

For example : In fire station you can find items what is using of firemans (Firefight axe, resistant boots against fire and firefight helm or more) and when you want guns you must go to military base or police station. Its a good logic.

Sleeping bag - If you want restore your stamina and energy you can use this thing and go to sleep and recovery your stats. This is pretty good idea right?

(Interaction when you must go sleep in game and you must use your sleeping bag or You havent sleeping bag and you will get sicked on the cold ground)

- Scarfs (so much color combinations) - use red scarfs on his shoulder to indicate own team and allied.

 

 

4.) Weapons + Special kits

 

- Any more pistol, submachine, automatic, rifle machines look like good, but remeber that weapons must have very low chance to find. This is about unique and rare weapons like this.

- AK-47 , CZ 48, m16, Shotgun, GLOCK, svd, musket weapon from 18. century and more old weapons from COLD war and World war 1 and 2 (mp40, thompson ...)

- mines, grenades, torchlights, jetpacks, sniper rifles, rpg and more), more upgrades and gadgets

- Pocket for weapon - that can be placed on the right or left thighs, You do not have to take off the vest.

- Add 3 pockets (1 pocket = maximal 4 slots) (For ammo, mags, foods and more) on the back for a vests or backpacks. Something like a military sets in real world.

 

5.) Buggs 

 

Problem with flashlight -  when you can see enemies in house when he is turn on flashlight and you see where he is cause problem is when light can go through over 3 walls or 3 house. What a bugg mg? Call for quick repair.

Problem with zombies - When zombie see you and going to kill you, he can catch you easy cause he is walking over walls, textures and everything what is in zombies way. Call for quick repair. Total defect.

Problem and ideas about Spraypaint - I want use that for repaint my clothes or mark me on clothes cause my friends can know who i am and my team can have same mark on own clothes and we could make own team.

Something as distinctive jersey or use red scarfs on his shoulder to indicate own team and allied.

For example : We have team about 5 players and all have same sets clothes and weapons and with spraypainting we make a Circle Mark on back and shoulder (RED color). What you think? Sounds like good.

- Repair ladder to the roof - No coment about this bugg, you are going from roof and you character shot down from ladder. 90% to death or crash your bones. You cant walking.

- Repair glitching - So much people have problem with wall, where I goin over wall and bugged my character and what next? Wait 2 hours to real dead! THis is big sh**. Repair pls Glitching.

 

 

6.) Animations 

- add so much animations for example when you are jumping of roof, swiming, eating, drinking and more.

 

 

 

7.) Creation character

- Unique Pendants (dogtags, bracelets, earrings) 

- Own unique Tattoo (character creation, pendants) 

 

- Creating a custom dogtag with data (name, age, country, blood type or game automaticaly create this. When You will die other players can steal your dogtag - This is  trophy or payment cash)

 

8.) More ideas, game mechanics and things

*** Ideas how to make a real better game then game is right now

 

 

- More types of food and drinks (cheeses, meats, butters, joghurts, salads, juices, beers, wines, alcohols and more) 

- Clocks on your hands (You can see the time in the game) 

- Pendants (dogtags, bracelets, earrings) 

- Groups of zombies who walking only along (they attack together on you, wanna kill you, Campers, runners) and types zombies. Slim zombie is faster, fat zombie is stronger, army zombie is tactical and more type.

- Change system drop, Very horribly wrong When you want obtained supplies for novices and new players. In spawning Locations is everything gone and nobody new has no chance to survive. Big wrong in this game. Without friends with supplies you havent chance to get new start life.

- Animals - Fish in water (you can hunt), wild dog, wild cat, animals, frogs in lakes, swamps (you can hunt), flock of birds fly away when someone is going so close them. Attract attention.

- Doors banging when opening. Very stressfull and scaring.

- interaction for doing a KNOCK KNOCK to the door.

- When you are opening door from both size, doors are opening only to one side. Big chance to get broken bone and get your health down. Change it. Open doors to 2 sides like in real.

-  door in the direction of the character, the doors open in one direction, figure you can break legs.

- More  catastrofs and elements on the map (for example : crashed helicopter and lot of  corpses around hheli, Crashed train, Crashed aircraft, bulk smash, car accidents and much of corpes.) 

 

 

9.)The game, servers, game mechanics (maximum priority) 

 

- Optimization of the game 

- Avoid combat log (after connecting to the server Players must play for a few minutes)

- You can watch your player statistics (In game menu or in ESC menu), the number of days survive and hours of your life, killed peoples, killed zombies, used healers, food, etc. 

- Add to the game storm, heavy rain, tornado? Fog, dust rain?

 

- More  catastrofs and elements on the map (for example : crashed helicopter and lot of  corpses around hheli, Crashed train, Crashed aircraft, bulk smash, car accidents and much of corpes.) 

- Refresh and Change to the servers according to official and unofficial servers. I hate unoficial servers.

- System drop. For example : In fire station you can find things that you can only use like a firefighter, etc. 

 

For example real drop: 

Fire station - firemen clothes, fireaxes, firemen boots, firefighter machine

Military bases - army clothes, vests, helms, weapons 

Kitchens, shops, houses - foods, beers, drinks, medkits, clothes 

Hospital - medkits, drugs, pharmaceuticals, foods 

Police stations - Helms, weapons, clothes police baton, weapons 

 

- Possibility party, inviting friends to the game (up to 4-8 people) 

- Mark your team with a spray any color on the shoulder or use scarf over her shoulder, creating your own logo, your own flag. What more?

- Add a description of the disease and instruction when you see status of  Thirsty, hungry, sick, healthy, etc. You need more information then wait what character will say.

- Allow in game to consume food without having them in bag, practically from the ground. It does not have to toss into your inventory and then back feed and blow. Lengthy. hmm...

- Playing in night. So much people dont use flashlight and just change gamma and brightness to maximal set and see more then only with flashlight. Just Disable this change only when everyone is playing on the night server. I am playing only with flashlight and never change gamma and brightness cause night server. Never. So much people kill me only with change gamma and brightness and i dont see enemies cause flashlight.  Long range shooting and suprising with flashlight and more. It is big sh**.

- Hud health bar, stamina and more from DAYZ MOD is better then DAYZ standalone without hud.

- More players on servers around 100-200 looks like great (HC) :D

- Black market, you can find a moneys (use like a pay for something), trading system and more, Cellars, basements, cripts

- Build own house and Add to a window grille, wooden desks and more. Same things to upgrade car.

- lock the door and have own keys (no one could stealth your items from house or can use crowbar to open door)

  - Garage for hide a own cars and have option to upgrade car

  - shelfs into which you can put your own things (something like a stash)

- Really maybe think like make a SUICIDE with poison injection like a start item look like a good idea. Some time i was spawing in a bad city withot loot and my person cant survive and i was w8ing to dead. Maybe Quick dead with Death pill or suicide injection (start item) look really cool for easy quick dead.

I was watching someone on YouTube play and was thinking how great it would be if in the hospital you could find a blood type testing machine

and find out what blood type you are. Then all you would need is a needle and tubing to give people of your blood. Would reset random upon death

so you would not always have the same blood type.  Also you could bag it and trade it to others (another reason not to shoot first) You could decided to label it or not.

I would not label mine as if someone killed me I don't want them to take it and be able to use it. maybe if they did would have to take it to hospital and test it.

I mean think about it how long is blood good for when not refrigerated. Also would be kinda neat if some people say 1-30 would spawn with diabetes. lol

They would have another need to secure like insulin and finding a blood tester. I for one would be more than willing if they settings are not to severe

to live with it. Could also give some people Hypoglycemia. Which just means you need to eat. I think finding a blood portable blood tester(hospital, clinics, doctor offices)

would be a priority as well as checking ever 30 min or so in game time and eat if needed. needing to take insulin (shot) when high or eat when low type deal.

Some symptoms of would be low energy sick feel? can only walk or only run for short periods before resting. needing to rest in game. What about Asthma? needing an inhaler would be the only thing you need say you're running around and start getting shortness of breath you only need to take a hit from your inhaler. 

What other maladies can you guys think of? Addicted to heroine maybe? Have to search crack houses to find unused stashes. Symptoms are shaky vomiting. To me that would give my person more of a real feeling and might give me more of a reason to care about my survivor.

I really love the idea of Character Customization, That is a huge hook for me.
 

I really agree with every view point here except combat logging, Instead of forcing players to play for a few minutes, have a countdown till log.

I think 30 seconds is better than 15s

If they are behind a bush getting there a$$ handed to them 15 sec

is enough for a combat log. make em wait 30s that is not to long to wait to log out.

Hell you could even log out and walk away. if you are in a safe spot you will most

likley live to see another day.

I cant even be arsed to read the entire post from OP, because i know most of it is covered elsewhere on the forums.

 

Its funny how joining an alpha development, makes people feel like they need to say the same as thousands of other people, in they're own thread, instead of actually keeping each suggestion seperate, in one thread, and have a proper discusion about it.

Has this turned into some kind of popularity contest? People are even advertising they're threads, in other threads and claiming they got the answer for everything.

It has to stop, if we are ever to have any actual discusions on any subject lol.....

Its funny how joining an alpha development, makes people feel like they need to say the same as thousands of other people, in they're own thread, instead of actually keeping each suggestion seperate, in one thread, and have a proper discusion about it.

I think you are being overly harsh on people. 

They just need to be reminded to search first.

And if people are going to take the time to
