Protective cases?

Where'd they go? I can't find any since the latest patch, and I've checked everywhere they used to spawn, multiple times.

 

I'm sad, that was my favorite item to find.

The highest spawn rate for me has always been fire stations.

I find they quite often in fire houses on teh shelves near the stairs ; also they spawn on the floor above the locker room on the ship in riffy.

 

I often go hunting for Proctetor cases to fill them with goodies for bambis ; since they can only hold 4 slots to start with its a perfect fit.

Stick a bible , can opener , can of beans , bottle of water and a compass in there and youll make a bambi really happy.

I really like the fact that I pour countless hours into searching for these items and I still can't find them with any consistency. I'm sure I could server hop the fire station and find one in a matter of minutes, but while doing it legit and having visited at least 10 fire stations and countless red brick cafe/bar buildings, I still haven't come across one.

 

Still, my beans, they need protection.

Oh and protective cases don't actually protect items yet(at least in backpacks), but they good for storage.

Also, I think after the new patch you can't open ruined cases anymore to see what's inside. (At least I wasnt able to open boxes from some dead dude). So whoever killed the char above had a bad time.
