Losing your player kill virginity.

My first and second kill were not memorable because they were kind of lame. We were in a big shooting in Kamyshovo with 5 other guys. My 4 friends were really disorganized and I saw a guy with a motorcycle helmet and an axe coming toward me. I yelled into the mic, "Who is coming toward me on the side of the industrial building?" One friend said it was him, but then the guy started chopping me. I had to run backwards and spray fire this guy who started rubber banding all over and then suddenly fell over. I then followed his friend into a house who also had an axe and gunned him down so he couldn't ambush us. Again, not memorable because I've done that in any shooter.

My 3rd kill is the one I'll never forget.

A guy was terrorizing this 11 year old I had met up with in Balota. 11 years old is pretty young, and made me feel really odd playing with him because saying, "I was playing and conversing with an 11 year old online" sounds like the beginning of a terrible Dateline special... anyway

This kid tried to befriend everyone we ran into. They either ran immediately when they saw me with my M4, or they were like some hillstop sniper who shot the kid then combat logged when I closed in.

Well, oddly enough I found a dead guy on the road with a Mosin and long range scope and ammo for days, so I swappers out my M4. I met up with the kid again outside of Elektro. I sat up on sniper hill and told the kid to make a break for the inner firehouse as I saw Zombies still around, making me believe it was safe to loot. Wrong. As soon as he got near the outer fence, M4 fire from the tower. I could see the barrel but not the player. I then told the kid to move to another side to give me a good shot. He then sprinted and our brave M4 Bambi hunter shifted sides. I made an 800 meter head shot, dropping the guy and giving this kid all pristine super kitted loot because of a semi-lucky headshot.

It became memorable because his friend darted out of the firehouse and guessed wrong because he ran directly away from my position so I didn't have to lead the shot and tagged him in the back, putting him down.

Younger players always get a bad rap, but a lot of the time I find them more mature than most of the "adults" on here. :\

Saw a dude from the second story of the parking garage on the east side of the coast getting killed by zombies. Killed the zombies and bandaged him up and administered some saline, he was apparently AFK, so I wandered back in the parking garage. He came back and saw me so we dicked around for a while, gave him my extra fire axe, and was gonna lead him towards my old backpack I dropped in the parking garage, but he fell and broke his leg. When I was furiously rushing towards the zombies eating him, I broke MY leg and used my only morphine pen....
So I looked for sticks for like ten minutes because painkillers didn't seem to do anything, and couldn't find anything. He asked me to just kill him, then rolled around like a worm for a while and then I axed him. It took.... a lot of swings to fireaxe a dude to death. Really good to know, too.

All in all, it was pretty entertaining. I learned to keep some sticks on me for splints if I have any room, and that 1kitKO on zombies is NOT onehit KO on dudes... so I should not try to axe folks who try to shoot me.

Unrelated, but I've also learned in my first 20 hours that backpacks are a game changer. those fuckers need to spawn more.

I logged into the top most part of the military base above balota air strip after not playing for a few hours. I hadnt seen a player in a long time. I was fully geared with an M4 which I had yet to test. There was a player on the platform bellow me who went prone when he heard the sound of me logging in. I watched him crawl around looking for me for a little bit, then unloaded on him. Shitty way to go if you ask me. He had probably run a long distance to explore that base. He had a purple taloon backpack, a fire axe, and a loaded pistol.

I still remember the panicky chase that was my first kill, back in some of the earlier days of the mod.  i was heading north out of Cherno, and hadn't even crested the hill just past the apartments when I noticed someone following me. I decided to make for the tree line just as the first rounds rang past my head. Only armed with a pistol, he managed a glancing blow that left me with a rather unpleasant, gushing wound. Instead of taking the risk of turning on him and trying to fill him with buckshot, I double-timed it into the woods. My pursuer was determined however, and continued the chase. Putting the local Chernarussian foliage to good use, I ran down an embankment to the nearby dam and dove into the underbrush. Hoping I had escaped, I took the opportunity to bandage my leaking body. My heart was racing, and what felt like an eternity passed before I heard the telltale sound of footseps. Getting closer. Closer still. I stifled my breathing, making every attemt to avoid discovery. Then silence. Feeling slightly panicked, I looked around to see the unmistakable sight of a white shirtleeve moving through the trees, moving past me, clearly unaware of my location. I rise to my knees and try to steady my aim as well as my nerves. The hunter becomes the hunted as I line the stranger in my sights and pull the trigger...

My first SA kill makes a slightly less dramatic tale, and involves a poor shovel-weilding survivor being instantly knocked unconscious by my womanly fists as he was examining some loot in the corner of a barn.

This all sounds incredibly tense!

I was walking through Kamyshovo on my way to Electro. I had brought a friend with me. After walking down the road for a bit a man in all black runs up from the coast shouting "Wooooo! IMMA GETCHA" and began punching at us. He got a few good hits on my friend and she started bleeding. It was at that point that I decided i had to beat the guy to death with a crowbar, I generally ask questions first and shoot only when attacked. That was the first time i was attacked when I had any means of defense. The first time I shot a man was much more comedic though.

Personally I've never had much action in the Mod. SA however has been slightly entertaining.

So I'm sitting inside the Jail at NEAF having found an empty M4 at a school not far off when I hear moaning from a wounded player. Scared the living crap outta me since it was a night time server. I snuck into the room across from the stairs and saw a standing fully kitted player on the strip bleeding. Frantically I looked around and managed to find a 10 rnd clip, pointed the rifle and looked down the sites. "This player hasn't moved", I thought to myself. Just standing there....bleeding to death. I go outside and carefully introduce myself over the mic, no response. He has an M4 out but not pointed anywhere. I get brave and sneak up inch by inch, drop a bandage and tell him to take it. No response, nothing at all. So I go and sit near this player and start talking about life and how the game is. Most have probably figured out, this was the bug where a player is dead standing up and I didn't know about it. Lol, feel like such a complete retard. Anyway I got bored and logged out.

Now onto the pants-less murder attempt.

I log onto a Day server and my guy is chilling in a corner of the same jail. I loot the rooms and check upstairs. As soon as I get to the second floor I see the lower naked half of a player with everything else still on him. "Very puzzling", I thought. I then hear footsteps and see in chat, "I'm Friendly, I'm Friendly" . I see a player with a Python walking up the steps. Must have been from over seas or something because I got the impression English definitely wasn't his native language. This makes me very uneasy as I'm a stealthy player and hate being confronted. A Million thoughts race through my head, I've never killed anyone. What do I do? What do I do?! I have my M4 out but not pointed, however I do keep my eyes on him at all times. I introduce myself to him through my mic and tell him I'm friendly. He gets upstairs and sees the dead player. "Uhhh, he was dead and naked when I got here", I stated. We then walk down stairs and Ive parked myself backed into the corner watching the door while he still types out in chat. He comes up near me and I watch in my peripherals as that Python is aimed then raises inch by inch towards my head. I don't know if he thought I was the killer or he just wanted better gear but I moved real fast as he fired. Luckily he missed. Literally shaking and can barely keep my mouse on the desk top I turn, couldn't manage to look down the rifle with all the adrenaline rushing through me. I unload the full clip (30 rnd at this point) from the hip into this guy. He rushing around behind the staircase but not before one round hits true and causes him to bleed. I reload and cautiously come up behind him and put some accurate rounds in the back of his head. He didn't combat log, and I didn't even check the body. I logged off because I was so shaken. It didn't irritate me that he tried to kill me, I understand why he attempted it. However it did irk me that he made me kill him, I just wanted to sit and talk about how crappy my job is. Lol

I have never gotten the adrenaline rush from a completed game like the way I do from the standalone...and it's an ALPHA

Not since Ravenholm from half-life 2
