ChernarusPlus? Probably not. They will fill out the new northern areas, but not the extent.

 

Other maps? Hopefully, but not any time soon.

You will have to wait quite a while ffor a bigger map be it dev built or modder made( i am betting modder made lol they work fast fueled with passion and love for the games they mod lol )

 

Check out some of the maps made for arma 2 by the community some are trully epic (yes some are even better than BIS made maps but that is just opinion i do like chenarus +)

Rocket said they will fill up northern areas of the mao then make an island probably with a prison then they will either keep extending or make a new map
