NoHatPat 1 Posted January 25, 2014 In order to receive loot, I have to be on a server with a time closer too 00:00 which is night time. Looting at night is horrendous with the flashlight hardly making a difference. All day time servers are usually full, all servers which are near 00:00 and almost full. All day time servers are mostly looted, at least to the towns I've visited. I know they want to make the game harder, but come on! I don't want to be forced to play on night time servers just have a decent chance of loot. HIHBGaming 14 Posted January 25, 2014 Well not for nothing at 00:00 the moon is high in the sky and you can see quite well. I'm quite sure there are towns that you haven't gone to that you could find loot at.I've seen plenty of threads like this one(not enough loot) but I and others seem to not have the issues finding what we need. Yeah dude I honestly feel like, to be having this problem, you must be literally following in the footsteps of all 39 people ahead of you. My suggestion: cut straight through the middle of the map when you spawn and hit the towns leading northwest. When I do this, I personally experience closed doors and plenty of zombies.With the current spawn rates of military items, you should be able to hit the military base and nwaf and at least end up with a gun and some bullets. Unless you are an exploiter in search of massive PvP at everyone else's expense, any gun with a clip and bullets is good enough until you find something else. Most of them say it could happen unexpectedly.I can understand why people hop they don't want to wait four hours until a restart and there is no way knowing the state of a server when you join. G-h0p 40 Posted January 25, 2014 (edited) I joined a daytime server earlier (30 players, full), ran in the woods as a fresh spawn. I ran until I found a water pump. Hydrated myself, kept on running deeper in the woods until I was dying from starvation. Made it into stary, found food, a mosin and ammo.... and no later than 2 mins later an M4. I carried both weapon until I decided to check out the new city. Made it there, all closed doors. I found a dude with not much who said was almost dying from starvation. I gave him food and not too long after, I gave him the m4. We then headed together to the NEAF for some military looting but it was already looted. As we were inside the ATC tower, I heard footsteps... me and buddy were in game chat so they knew we were there but didnt talk... I heard 2 guys sneaking up. My mosin got rid of the first dude who peaked inside. The second one went running behind the hangar waiting for us to move. After 15 minutes, I equipped the magnum, ran outside. Took mosin back out and spotted the other dude. Took him down. Got some food and drinks from the kills. Left the area.Buddy who had not much was so excited, he necer had seen so much action and learned quite a bit. We are now steam buddies.Needless to say, loot is out there. You just gotta find it.
