Play with your settungs till you're satisfied with a balance of fps and graphics. I'd suggest doing your tests in a bigger city though, because they cause huge framerate drops.

It's probably in wrong forum section, and it should be in hardware; but play on low settings.

I've a high end desktop with gtx 780 & 32 GB veng. at very low.

Arma games is horrible optimized on Nvidia high end gpu cards.

I have a GTX 780 ti and I play on the highest settings with 40-50 fps? What are you talking about?

Chuck everything on "very high" as a starting point then drop object detail to the lowest setting and disable ambient occlusion and post-process. IMO this is the best balance between graphical fidelity and performance for someone with a decent rig.

If you aren't satisfied with your performance with these settings then drop antialiasing a bit too.

I play full blast... amd 8350 8gig corsi veng, and a 7950.. fps drops in big cities but i've just delt with it, Electro and cherno are the one's that hit hard on the fps, but since its just a deathmatch there i seldom ever visit...

That's my point in BF4 I've 120 FPS at ultra setting.

In cities your fps drops a lot..

check this video by Frankieonpc; he got 680 gpu's. setup.

The game looks great at low settings though.  :)

The Dev, team said they could optimized their game a lot in the future too -

so it will get better when we're in beta.
