Sinphaltimus 262 Posted January 25, 2014 Been playing on the same server a few days now through deaths and and decking out.Today I only had several hours to play in the morning with one mission, get some better gun parts and clothing.Plan, avoid human contact then retreat to the forests once I have the parts I need and cloths replaced.Hidden in a tree deep in the woods north of the little installation north of the NWAF sorting inventory, then Red chain, server going to reset soon. Server resets, I rejoin and..."You are dead". WTF, well, that completes my adventure for this character after about 15 hours of game life. Fudge packets. Time to start all over again. But not now. Have work to do.*Walks away kicking a stone through the dry dirt hands in pockets, head hung low* As much as I love this Alpha, I am very much looking forward to these kinds of things getting resolved. I doubt very much I was killed by another player or Zed.After playing hero and bandit and lunatic, all I want to do is see how long I can keep a single player alive on the same server by avoiding people, zeds, stairs, apartment buildings and ladders while being fully geared up "Just in case".Don't get attached to anything - you will lose it due to no fault of your own. creature 1189 Posted January 25, 2014 Pro tip: Don't stand in a tree, near a rock, ledge or stairs during a restart or logging out of the game. You probably spawned in in the same spot as the tree. The tree won. Share this post Link to post Share on other sites

Things will go through phases of improving and then possible glitchyness, but in the not so distant future you will be able to regale folks with tales of your Alpherian Deeds where even trees and ladders would bite.
