Bored of the endgame? Possible Solution!

Recommended Posts

To avoid boredom after getting geared up i try to play as mercenary! I'm going to do almost anything... for a price :)

Finding loot, supporting combat, scouting, medical care, ingame tips, complete sightseeing tours.

Evrything except being your slave or participating in your force feed experiments. ;)

The biggest problem so far is building up a good reputation, because its all about the trust.

Username is merc.psychojake, you can find me ingame..sometimes.. or just send a request via steam...

Payment is of course dependant of the gear you have. But mostly i'll be fine with food and ammunition...

Geez, people need to relax.  Forum nazis like to berate other players for some uknown reason.  Probably the same sociopaths that molest players in-game.

I'll pay 1 bag of rice for every copy of King Lear you bring me.  US Central 1-8 MPGS Hardcore.

there is no endgame in dayz mod and there will be no endgame in SA. once you're geared up it's basically game over and you have to find a way to die by doing risky things. then you can gear up again...

or you play the deathmatch.

Topic cleaned.

Please do not derail the topic with meaningless banter that need not occur. OP has the right to post anything that does not break the rules or is lock-worthy.

I fully support your endeavors, OP. As it stands there is no defined endgame and you are free to do as you please. Even once the game is full release-worthy a hired gun/ loot runner wouldn't be a bad idea.

Can I hire you for a bag of rice so my friend can snipe you in the back so we could take all your gear?

yeah but... if you already have everything, what price can possibly motivate you to do anything for someone else?

e: nvm. i don't think it's about the price for you in the end.

I hope we can develop into a game where we can trade items with other players for items we need.

Say when base building is in I could set myself up in a shop in Cherno or Elektro and people can come to my door asking if I have something, to which I can say, "sure, what do you have to trade" etc.. That way we don't just have to search for items, we can trade for them.

Of course there is a certain risk involved with "trading" so we can pay (using items, ammo, food etc..) people to protect our shops and persons during these transactions... which then leads to a certain level of trust and the need for people to gain reputations as reliable, trustworthy etc..

All sorts could come of this sort of thinking, player driven trade and jobs.
