If you could answer the following it would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance! How do I view the map? (Is there even a map available?) How do I tell what time it currently is (in-game) ? HIHBGaming 14 Posted January 24, 2014 1: You need to find the map, or you can go to www.dayzdb.com2: When you join a server it tells you what time it is, it's a 24hour clock so 13:00 = 1pm, etc...3: Don't know how to help you there, have you tried selecting "Set default"^ This, although using a 3rd party map kinda ruins the exploration bit of it. To each his own I guess. For #3: Adjust the character looks you want and "Set Default". Next time you die that default is what your character will look like. When you find a map it will be a local one showing only part of Chernarus NW, NE etcPut the map on a hot key or I think just placing it your hands will give you the view map option. How do I tell what time it currently is (in-game) ? It's time to dieServer time in browser, though I don't think its as accurate as they would like. My character creation function doesn't seem to be working, I keep playing as the asian lady. Never had any issues with this, unless somethings changed.Do you click select default when you have set up your character? You need to die again before your new default is born.
