Bullet Lag/Delay

Recommended Posts

Hello everyone!

So I've been playing this game for a few days now and have been having a blast. There is one thing that I am a little confused and concerned about though...

I have very seldom been in a gun fight so I haven't been able to actually test this out for myself. When I fire my gun at someone (or a zombie) point blank, is there delay from when I fire and my shot hits the target or does the target just take a little longer to register that it's been hit?

Takes time to register the hit.

Mostly known as infamous DayZ desync.

You(or the server) are lagging when this happens. I haven't really seen this going on since ArmA 1 came out. That game had serious online issues at first.

Regards.

So just to clarify,

If I saw someone running sideways, aimed directly at them and fired...they would still move for a second or so and then die?
