I don´t see the point in reviewing a game in alpha state. Whether you paid for it or not..

He's comparing it to other early access survival games that run better. He's reviewing it as an alpha product.

The reasons why i bought this SA edition are these ;

 

The price will go up when fully released

I want to be part of the beta/alpha and help the crew with bringing forward ideas and suggestions

The game will be better in the long run and i can follow it from the start.

wtf is this thread? and warz being better than dayz ? i really hope you are joking. while warz was entertaining during its alpha phase, it was nowhere near a good game or even close to being as good as dayz. lay off the crackpipe.

I find it kind of funny that he says the engine and/or controls were the thing he hated most about OFP, ArmA, ArmA2, and DayZ Mod yet he says he was surprised to find that DayZ SA has the same engine and/or controls. Surely that would have been something anyone else would Google before spending £20 if it were such a pressing issue.

 

I wonder how much money he makes for essentially saying water is wet and that alphas are buggy and messy. I could do that.

ok so i had to break out the retard to english dictionary and rewatch the video. the guys problem is that he sucks at dayz because he is not smart enough to play it effectivly so he thinks the game is garbage.

Exactly. Both Games are alpha - there is no point in reviewing or comparing the two since they are not finished.

I agree with this guy somewhat. Although I definitely think that it's worth buying and it doesn't ruin the game for me, I would much prefer a more polished engine than there is currently. At least when it comes to playing in first person. You shouldn't have your camera clipping through the wall, it really ruins the whole first person experience. That's one of the main reasons why I enjoy playing in third person most of the time. I really hope they improve on the engine while in the development of this game.
