One wonders why there are no vids of all these supposed clear-cut hacker cases showing up....

there is. Have you looked ??

 

Problem is that you would only say it was desync anyway so there is no point in showing you.

Bearing in mind the time between bottom of building and behind me was seconds (i.e. probably not long enough ghost), what do you think this is? Serious rubber banding? I've seen a video of a guy using a short distance teleport, maybe that? Or are there issues viewing other players on ladders etc? If it is a result of game instability then I suppose it's just another reason to avoid interaction with other players.

had the same thing happen to me. I was on a crane and without even climbing up a hacker got behing me and one shotted me with his fists

Logged into a Nightserver a few weeks ago at an Airfield only me and one other on the server. Open the door of the last building, (creepy as I got no lighting), when inside on comes a light, I jump 10 feet out of my chair and we commence a firefight. He wins and killed me. No he was not a hacker just a dude who was in the same place as me and a better shot.

Nice story.

 

Pointless though right ??

It's funny how all of these supposed hacks are very consistent with bad desync. I don't deny there are hackers there are clearly hacks such as aimbots and esp that go undetected by battleye but I think there's not a lot of people using them yet.

Pointless post is pointless...

 

The guy was just explaining that, even though there is only one other person on the server and you think "there is no way that they are near me", you're probably server hopping in a military loot area. Tons of other people do this and it is very likely that you will run into someone and being killed while there is only one other person on is not a sign of hacks.

No point in trying to explain that to the hurt epeens that scream hack in order to save their fragile ego's :P
