hunting stands and barns

anyone else remember back in the mod when hunting stands and random, standalone barns almost always guaranteed a weapon of some sort? I want that back! does anyone know if they plan to implement this again?

Red-roofed barns are once again your friend. Kinda. Haven't found a gun, but at least they have loot tables and are spawning items again.

I've found some decent stuff in those barns as of the patch too. Gas mask, decent clothing, food, etc. I checked the deer stands and no lootables added to those yet though.

Hopefully no bulding will guarantee the spawning of any item. But logically hunting shotguns/rifles will be more likely to be found in sich places. There should be no guarantee though, unlike in the mod. ;)

High grade weapons will be generally toned down quite a bit once more guns are in.

Hunting stands though should be a good place to potentially find hunting rifles or camo gear.

Yes, those. The loot is in different places ... up close against the crates on the bottom floor, found a can directly in front of the stairs to level three, etc. I've climbed a few deer stands since this patch, nada so far.

So these barns only started spawning loot as of the latest patch? That explains a lot, haha. I had spent so much time checking these barns and never found anything.

I loved those barns in the mod, cus they had my fav early weapon, the Winchester!
