Rrezz 18 Posted January 21, 2014 Me and 2 other guys in same clan as me Spawn in Elektro Hospital, one guy goes on the roof, and says he see's 2 guys well geared behind it near the wooden shed, so we run out back and see them and guy on the roof shoots and kills them using M4. So we go over to there bodies to loot there items and my clanmate starts freaking out on TeamSpeak saying these guys gear is insane, and how much ammo they have. So I go to loot the bodies and what do I see? 1st guy has THREE Fully stocked Ammo boxes FULL of ammo, 60 rounds, 40 rounds, M4 Mags you name it he had it. Inside his backpack/jacket etc he had an ADDITIONAL 5 mags for an M4 fully loaded, his M4 was maxed out scope, light, everything. The second guy, the exact same thing, he had 4 ammo boxes, full filled with 40, 60, M4 Mags, 7.62mm rounds as well, his backpack + jacket ALSO had 4-5 M4 Mags full of ammo and a maxed out M4. Also within 2 minutes of killing them, one of them was back already running around INSANELY fast at least 3x normal speed if not 5x. We eventually killed him, and not even 30 seconds later he was back again, so we killed him and changed servers. Needless to say I believe at least 1 of the 2 guys was hacking. Anyone else ever found an insane amount of ammo on people? I just can't see how anyone could get 6-8 ammo boxes FULL of M4, Moslin, Magnum ammo, as well as 8-10 clips of M4 Ammo in there inventory legit. Added onto the fact the guy was moving 3x-5x the speed of a normal player I can't see them being legit. Wish the game said: "You have killed: Player-name" and "Player-name has killed you." so you can report hackers or at least write there name down lol. Share this post Link to post Share on other sites

InflatedLyric 39 Posted January 21, 2014 My computer is down right now, but last week I had two lives that spanned many days at about 6 hours of playtime a day. I would loot every building in NWAF and then go to other military locations at some point, then the server respawns and you can return to NWAF. Log for the day and do it again the next day. I have found 400-500 rounds in one trip at NWAF, hitting every building. A 300 round box holds up to 600 rounds of 5.56. Point being it is not surprising that anyone could get a lot of ammo. If one were to server hop, they could accomplish what I did over days in a few hours.One life I had about 700 rounds of only 5.56. The other, I had over 1000 5.56, a few stacks of 7.62, and one stack of .45 acp and an extra mag. I will keep stanag mags at first, but eventually you only hang onto coupled mags. And they could have simply looted the gear, probably by server hopping. yeah most likely server hoping my best at actual loot has been 1 ammo box ( i found 2 more but had no use for them so left them ) it was pretty full mind you and i had 4 double or 60 round clips so it is possible properly looting to do that .( it took me 10 days to get what i had and lost it to a bug strange where is my thread bitching about bugs lol ) The running part could have been fist run it could have been desync the people you saw again might have been someone else. Alot of possibilities not discounting hacking they may have been just more likely the others though. Id say not hacking if they were they would most likely teleport to you in jumps.. LegitOldSchool 261 Posted January 21, 2014 Last time I died I had 2 ammo boxes full of 60 rnds 5.56, one ammo box full of 20 rnds 7.62, 5 double mags for my fully kitted M4, both scopes for the mosin and M4, a medkit with meds and one with 3 saline. conan the librarian 99 Posted January 21, 2014 When I went on my trip around the whole of Chernarus for 20-25 hours of game time avoiding people and seeing the sights and sounds, I acquired along the way similar amounts of ammo, before I eventually got bored and got into a gunfight in Cherno. Rrezz 18 Posted January 21, 2014 (edited) Naw was way faster then fist sprinting, he was going from behind Hospital to inside the school and back within 2 seconds, as well as getting back to use so quickly after dying it felt like teleporting almost. Yea I could see people getting the ammo legit, but still I find it hard to believe you would need so much of it, don't see a point having 3-4 ammo boxes per guy full of the stuff, you would be fine with 1 MAYBE 2 if you can't conserve your ammo. And I doubt it was desync as all 3 of us saw him going at that speed. Might have been but I don't think there is a spawn within 30 seconds of Elektro Hospital, at least I've never spawned that close closest has been about 2 mins out from Hospital/school at very edge of town. And to get the spawns 2x in a row is just really hard to believe. Yeah back before spawn update I remember getting mad amounts of ammo off airfields etc, now I just can't be bothered going that far unless my clan feels up to it we usually just kill bandits for ammo if we need it. I hope you use that ammo wisely and not on fresh spawns lol ( biased as i have died again to a set of steps desync fall to death lol damn construction sights..) so if you see a guy in a yellow rain coat black beanie black cargo pants with a shovel save ya ammo i got pretty much nothing at the moment :thumbsup: Share this post Link to post Share on other sites

My charater has about 7 clips of M4 ammo, M4 with full toys, full medical supplies, etc. I've never server hopped I just know where to go and never die. Also if you kill someone you have access to all there stuff. Its not hard to get gear at this stage of the game.
