it got me thinking when I saw a twitter post saying;

And I guess the timer is 10 mins at this point to deal with amount of dead bodies, mainly from people killing them selves.

 

So, I think if a character is alive less than 10 min, the body should clean up relay fast, maybe 2 mins. 

If character is alive over 10 mins, dead body last 30 mins.

And? it dosenlt really tell us anything, also looks like a 'save face' comment from Dean, after he though 'Doh'. So didn't include it

sometimes i don't know why i bother! Lets forget my suggestion and have an argument about something that is not relevant  <_<

 

Dean may have said 'temporary solution..." but didn't list what is in the planing pipe line. so i made a suggestion

Right now, it is only there to help with cleaning the server since they are limited as is. With dead bodies cluttering up a server, the server will have a harder time running and will slow performance. Its the same reason why zombie bodies disappear immediately. Servers aren't intended to reset every 4 hours or however long like they do now, but the respawning element is too hard on the system to implement as of yet. If you've tried the experimental branch which doesn't really reset, you kinda get the idea. It will possibly get replaced with perma bodies or at least ones with closer to a 2 hours cleanup. Once the performance issues are dealt with, there probably won't be nearly as much need to clean up even the piles of dead new spawns that often.

The suggestion is appreciated, but as with many of them, these things are already planned and are just waiting for the right time to be implemented.
