Damit Dayz! U ruined my gaming!

The adrenalin that Dayz pumps out in my veins make every other game seem meaningless. There is no point in playing a fast Fps where u spawn fresh with a full gear, i aint afraid of dying in those anymore. Strategy games are pointless. Is there any other game that even comes close the the Dayz experience?

Project Zomboid is essentially a more complex DayZ but from a different perspective. You should check it out too. :)

Rust fills the building gap that DayZ leaves, but they're really 2 different focus'/games. I enjoy DayZ much more, however it is lacking in content at this time. Rust is a good temporary filler.

 

I was always told the peeps in Rust were friendlier. Ain't that a joke. I've been KOS'd more there in about 3 hours of playing than I have in 30+ of DayZ.

 

I'm actually thinking of getting Arma 3 after playing the Standalone. No idea if I'll get the same satisfaction, but I'll give it a go. Altis Life looks fun for it too.

Don't know if it's been said, but Minecraft is similar in the fact that you start out with nothing.  Although it's a lot easier to survive in minecraft (if you decide not to play on peaceful).

Ridiculous. After only about 15 hours in Rust I formed a town of 30+ people. There are unfriendly people who KoS, but it's by far much easier to make friends in that game. Not to mention, you were probably just chilling around someones base when they killed you. There's nothing as hysterical as chasing down a deer with 5 other naked dudes.
