I think that this would be a good place to give ideas for guns that would be good in Dayz i dont know if there is an actual place to do this but until then, here i go:

- SVT-40 Tokarev

- Tokarev tt-33

and then the typical guns from the Mod.

If you look through the game files all the guns are decided on they just aren't listed in any of the loot tables. At last count there's somewhere between 30-35 weapons.

I'd love to see the Steyr STG-77 (also known as Steyr AUG) - It's the most reliable, accurate, sturdy and low-maintenance weapon I've ever seen and used (in its class)...
 

Also I want crossbows and Bows and arrows .. self-made and professional.

I have been trying to open the .PBO files to look at said guns and i wasn't able to find a way to open them. How did you do it?

Since they are finally adding the sawed off shotgun in Dayz they should add the Obrez sawed off Mosin.

They should add a .270 deer gun, or a elephant rifle, or a 22 machine gun.

They should add the Nagant revolver, with 7.62X38mmR rounds it can effectively use a suppressor the only revolver I think that can.

I think they are adding, those. But i dont know about the AUG, and thats actually one of my favourite guns

While the Ak is durable I wouldn't call it a survival weapon, the typical survival rifles are .22LR. You can hold a lot of ammo and they are very light acc rifles. .22LR although they wont be they best vs bandits they would be perfect for hunting and getting rid of zeds. There are also plenty of survival/hunting .22's that are fairly interesting. If they could add air powered pellet guns that would be interesting to,

I'd think they should put multiple options in for the amo types there are in game.

 

.45 ACP we could have the kris?

7.62x54r we could have the dragunov, please, PLEASE!

.357 some cool options here maybe a lever action rifle

5.56 lots of options, maybe an AUG or Tavor

 

I think if you start throwing logs of guns into the game and each has different amo its going to get tricky. Would be interesting to know if the devs have a number in mind for the different weapons they want in game.

 

I think my all time dream rifle for the zombie apoc would be the scar 17 h i think its close to the perfect rifle and looks totally bad arse.

 

I would spartan kick rambo into the horde for that rifle
