So I was wondering what exactly is battleeye and is there a way to tell if a server doesnt use battleeye or not because all the servers that are battleeye enabled I cannot play on atm?

BattleEye is a cheat prevention software. You have to agree to the license agreement in order to play.

if you got banned from a battle eye server you pretty much get banned from everything battleeye is on ei arma 3 and such i believe. So if you got banned rightn ow its a global ban. Unless its a technical issue but idk how that could happen

It will ask you the first time you connect to a BE enabled server (almost all of them)

All DayZ official servers now have battleye since last patch. If you can't play because you hacked and got banned playing the mod before that's your problem, there's no other reason you shouldn't be able to play on an official server.
