your ping is fine, just make sure your playing on UK servers with under 80 ping.

 

we still want to see you system specs and see if there maybe another issue.

 

your description is very vague, so we dont know if you are experiencing lag related rubber banding (we all are a bit)

or low FPS (we all are to a certain extent)

your computer is barely good enough to run the game

 

i have a dual core lenovo that is very similar in spec and it cant barely get 15 fps in the mod...

 

Thats not true at all this computer has been running the game fine on medium settings since its launch, now i understand as more stuff comes out on it i will have to lower the settings but the computer has nothin to do with why i cant join any game or receive any message back from the host of a server, Your wrong to try and put it down to my computer.

Ok sorry about that.

 

I have been playing fine since day one of launch and i have been loving it but these problems started around the same time as the last patch but they were not too bad at the start and then they gradually got worse but to be honest i have seen a few threads after looking around about this same issue and i think its something that needs to be fixed in the next patch. What do you think ??

 

My computer definitely needs updating i know but i promise you she has worked well with the game so far, no ctd or anything.

Sounds like the rubber banding lag effect.

 

I rarely experience this, but i generally play on LOW POP and low ping servers...which are in my region.

 

this problem is the one where you are doing something and get teleported back to what you were doing a minute ago...maybe this is what you experienced?

 

if so, this is common and being fixed ASAP

So basically you CPU is lacking the GHZ to play the game at higher levels

your GFX car is sub par as well for the game.

 

those 2 factors alone will make your time less enjoyable.

 

I run a q9550 at work with a gtx 460 and i can get 20-30 fps on SA.

 

but a gtx 460 is much much better than your gfx card...your biggest bottleneck is the low processor speed and your gfx card

 

SA is alpha not optimized and hog for even high end systems

 

So you think i should just wait for further optimisation?? My next buy will be a computer rather then a graphics card and that may be a while away.

Also could you explain bandwith to me. I get ping and desync but what is bandwith ??

I dont believe its his pc as well my specs are well above the required but sometimes when i log into a server i get a 0 on everything as in 0 ping 0 bandwidth 0 desync as in at that point it is so desync it doesnt even tell me what people have for ping etc everyone says 0.

 

Usually fixes when i just pick another server and has only happened couple times but i think thats what he is getting lol

 

If its that what he is getting on that server he wont be able to use or do anything doors dont register etc etc and generally just rubber band back to where you started ( i played like this for a while as my frames were smooth and i had no broken chain didnt know there wasa problem till i tried to draw my weapon .

 

I cant be sure cause the 2 times this happened to me just picking another server fixed it completely ....

 

EDIT perhaps something to do with having a shitty connection as well my net aint the best but honestly dont know

Thats the problem. It may be the connection but i just cant understand why its only after the last update that it has started happening to everyone, that seems a bit odd to me.

 

Also all other games working fine on the internet

Like people said above me, 0 desync is fine. My mate has over 2000 desync sometimes. Thats when it gets unplayable.

Remember that when desync is too high you might see 0 desync instead of 10.000.
